Esther Dyson (CH)

Emerging digital tehcnology journalist, Entrepreneur and philanthropist

Being an emerging technology pioneer and a true visionary entrepreneur, Esther Dyson is one of the world’s most influential www- and technology personalities today. She has “small start ups” such as Flickr, del.icio.us and Eventful on her conscience. At NEXT 2010 CareWare she will represent the DNA profiling company 23 and Me – a project that’s gives consumers full view of their own genetic information.

Anthony Townsend (US)

Director of Tehcnology Development, Institute for the Future

Director of Tehcnology Development at Institute for the Future with an impressive research career at New York University. He directs strategic investments in collaborative forecasting platforms, future media and visualization technologies, and web communications tools. Anthony is a member of the National Foreign Trade Council’s Global Innovation Forum Brain Trust.

Will Sansom (UK)

Consultant, writer and researcher

Writer and researcher at the highly acclaimed London based marketing and media intelligence company, Contagious. The goal for founding Contagious back in 2004 was to become “the Bible of non-traditional marketing”. Working for the Contagious FEED dept. Will delivers intels to companies such as Mattell and Xbox EMEA. He handles clients worldwide and writes for the Contagious Magazine.

Ted Howes (US)

Global design and innovation consultancy Lead, IDEO

Ted Howes leads IDEO’s efforts in integrating sustainability and business factors. He has dedicated his career to exploring the intersection of business and environmental issues. Prior to joining IDEO, Ted was Vice-President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Supply Chain Programs at SCS where he helped Fortune 50 corporations, including Wal-Mart, Numi Tea, The Home Depot and Starbucks.

Jamais Cascio (US)

Ethical writer and futurist

Jamais Cascio is an international recognized ethical writer and futurist and specializes in the design and creation of plausible scenarios of the future. James Cascio has co-founded the popular sustainability blog and online magazine about sustainability and social innovation Worldchanging.com. Cascio holds many prominent titles, among those are Director of Impacts Analysis for the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology.

Josephine Green (UK)

Speaker and consultant, Beyond 20: 21st century stories

Josephine Green is a member of the Advisory Board of the European Futurists Conference Lucerne. For 15 years she was Director of Trends and Strategy at Philips Design, responsible for directing research into society, cultures and people and its implementation into the Strategic Futures Programme. Josephine now speaks and consults on different ways of perceiving, being and doing for the 21st century, based on social and cultural innovation, collaboration, complexity and emergent futures.
